Frequently asked

Everything home service businesses ask us

How Does AdVantage Media LLC Help Home Service Businesses Get More Booked Jobs?

We provide done-for-you digital marketing for home service businesses that want to generate more calls, service requests, and booked jobs. We manage the marketing channels that help local customers find your business when they need your services, whether that’s repair, maintenance, installation, or emergency work.

Rather than leaving you to coordinate multiple vendors or figure out advertising platforms on your own, we handle the work needed to improve your visibility and attract qualified local leads.

Which Marketing Services Are Available for Home Service Contractors?

Your marketing plan can include the digital services that support stronger local visibility and lead generation, including:

  • Google Ads management
  • Local SEO
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Meta Ads
  • AI search visibility

Each service is designed to help your business appear where potential customers are searching, browsing, and comparing local providers. The right mix depends on your goals, service areas, and the type of work you want to promote.

For example, a company that wants more emergency service calls may use a different strategy than one focused on promoting installations, maintenance plans, or seasonal offers. Marketing priorities can also change with the season and local demand.

Can You Help My Business Show Up in Local Google Searches?

Yes. Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization are focused on helping your business become easier to find in relevant local searches. When homeowners search for the services you offer in their area, a well-managed local presence can help put your company in front of them.

Google Business Profile optimization also helps keep important business information organized for people searching locally. This can support visibility for customers who are looking for a home service provider and are ready to make a call or request service.

Accurate service categories, business hours, phone numbers, service areas, and customer reviews all help people understand what your company offers. Keeping those details current can reduce confusion for customers searching for time-sensitive help.

What Is Included With Google Ads Management?

Google Ads management helps your business reach people who are actively searching for services related to your business. Ads can be used to promote the services you want more of, whether that involves repairs, seasonal maintenance, installations, or other service offerings.

We manage Google Ads as part of a done-for-you approach, so you can stay focused on serving customers and running your operation. The goal is to help turn relevant search activity into more opportunities for calls and booked work.

Campaigns can be organized around specific services, locations, and customer search terms. This makes it easier to direct advertising spend toward the work that best fits your scheduling capacity, service coverage, and business priorities.

Do You Offer Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) for Home Service Businesses?

Yes. Meta Ads are one of our core services for home service companies, alongside Google Ads and local SEO. We use Meta Ads to build local brand awareness, promote seasonal or service-specific offers, and generate leads through forms and messaging, reaching homeowners as they browse Facebook and Instagram rather than only when they’re actively searching.

Do I Have To Sign a Long-Term Contract or Pay a Setup Fee?

No. We do not require long-term contracts or setup fees. This gives your business a more flexible way to access professional digital marketing support without being locked into an extended agreement.

Instead of a setup fee, it is helpful to understand what marketing services are being managed, which goals are being tracked, and how campaign activity relates to calls, form submissions, and booked jobs. Clear expectations help companies evaluate marketing efforts over time.

Do You Charge a Cancellation Fee?

No. There are no cancellation fees at AdVantage Media LLC. Since we don’t lock clients into long-term contracts, we don’t believe you should be penalized for stepping away either.

What Happens If I Want to Cancel My Service?

You can cancel at any time with 15 days’ notice. This gives us enough time to pause ad campaigns properly, avoid wasted spend, and leave your accounts. There’s no penalty, no hidden fee, and no pressure to stay longer than makes sense for your business.

Do You Create the Ads Themselves, or Just Manage the Campaigns?

We handle both. Ad creation is included as part of our done-for-you service, not a separate cost. This means our team designs the graphics and visuals for your Meta Ads and writes the keyword-targeted copy for your Google Search campaigns. You don’t need an in-house designer or copywriter.

How Long Does It Take to Get My Campaigns Up and Running?

Onboarding typically takes about one week. During this time, we set up or gain access to your ad accounts (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Business Profile), configure tracking, and build your first round of ad creative and keyword targeting. We move as fast as we can, but proper account setup matters more than rushing, since it’s what makes campaigns perform well once they launch.

What Do You Need From Me to Get Started?

To onboard your account, we typically need access to your website (for tracking setup, technical SEO optimization, and content updates), your Google Business Profile, and admin or partner access to your Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts. If you don’t have these accounts yet, we can help set them up as part of onboarding.

Will I Have Access to My Own Ad Accounts?

Yes. Your ad accounts remain yours. We work inside them as a manager, not as the owner, so you always retain visibility and control, and you keep everything if you ever decide to part ways with us.

Do You Provide a CRM to Track Leads and Conversions?

Yes. As part of our paid media plans, we provide a CRM system so you can see exactly where every lead comes from, whether it’s a call, a form submission, or a message from Google or Meta Ads. The CRM also includes an automated follow-up system. When a new lead comes in, it can automatically reach out through text or email to help move them toward booking, even if your team hasn’t had a chance to call back yet.

This reduces the number of leads that go cold simply because no one followed up in time, which is one of the most common ways home service companies lose booked jobs.

Do You Build Landing Pages as Part of Your Service?

We can build landing pages for your campaigns, but this isn’t included in your standard marketing plan. Landing pages are offered as a separate service with its own cost, since they involve additional design and development work beyond ongoing campaign management. If you’re interested, we can scope this out based on what your campaigns need.

How Often Do I See Results or Reports?

We provide regular reporting so you always know how your campaigns are performing, not just at renewal time. Reports include the numbers that actually matter for your business: leads generated, cost per lead, ad spend, and campaign activity across the channels we manage for you.

We don’t inflate numbers or present vanity metrics. If something isn’t working, we’ll tell you directly and explain what we’re adjusting, because our goal is a long-term relationship built on results, not on locking you into a contract you can’t easily leave.

Do I Have to Sign Up for All Three Services (Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO)?

No. You can start with a single service and add others later as your budget or goals change. Many home service businesses begin with just Google Ads or Meta Ads, since paid campaigns tend to produce faster, more measurable results, and add local SEO once they want to build longer-term, compounding visibility.

We’ll help you figure out which service makes the most sense to start with based on your goals, service area, and how quickly you need new jobs on the books. There’s no requirement to bundle everything from day one.

How Soon Can I Expect to See Leads From My Campaigns?

Timelines vary depending on your market, budget, and competition, but with paid campaigns (Google Ads and Meta Ads) that are set up and running correctly, most home service businesses start seeing leads within the first two weeks. Results can move faster or slower depending on factors outside our control, like your service area’s demand, seasonality, and how much budget is allocated to ads.

SEO works differently. Because it relies on building authority and rankings over time, most companies begin to see meaningful traffic and lead growth starting around month 3 and continuing to build from there. SEO is a long-term investment that compounds, while paid ads are the faster path to generating calls and booked jobs early on.
